If you have a low end CPU then DX12 can help and if you have AMD hardware, unless it is quite old, then you will likely see benefits on that too.ĭX12 might possibly scale better if you have 6 or 8 cores, but I don't really know. If you have a high end CPU and nvidia GPU dx12 doesn't do much, as seen in the Major's screen shots. I think my cpu is fine and I have 16 gigs normal ram (I'll also be going to 32 gigs when I upgrade my card). Noob question: any advantage to dx 12 besides fps? I plan on getting (if I can afford it) a geforce 1070 8 gig card in another month or so.
